It seems that most people claim the right to decide for themselves what is good enough when it comes to meeting the responsibilities that they have in life. The truth is that the standards we must meet at work or in our society are not determined by each of us alone, but by a standard that is greater than any one of us. That’s how it works in faith, too. The Word of God sets the standard for what is good enough in the life of faith.
